In the following period, REFORD with its staff and other experts , will provide supporting services through the signed Consultancy contract with FORAGROBIO CC d.o.o Serbia in development of a project on ,,Sustainable forest management and modern biomass in two pilot areas in the Drin River Basin”.
The services provided are in the framework of the “SEE Nexus Project” (“Promoting the Sustainable Management of Natural Resources in South-eastern Europe, through the use of the Nexus approach”), funded by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) and implemented by the Global Water Partnership-Mediterranean (GWP-Med) in partnership with the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE).
“SEE Nexus Project” contracted FORAGROBIO CC d.o.o to conduct the project, while REFORD Is engaged as a subcontractor by FORAGROBIO CC d.o.o, to implement the envisaged activities in North Macedonia.
The project will prepare a desk analysis of the situation regarding sustainable forest management and biomass production in the Drin river basin, as well as preparation of a concept note and full proposal on forest management and modern biomass production in the Drin river basin.
The duration of the project is 5 months.
